Google reader issue solved

Dear reader,

Over the last few weeks the RSS feed to google reader was a total mess as you might have noticed. Untill now I thought the problem was with either google or with the feed. Turns out it was neither. 

After @pluginID suggested it might be the HTML code that was messed up I had a look there.. an boy was it messed up! Turns out there was a whole second blogpost in there, aligned totally left messing up everything. Didn’t show up on the blog, however so I wasn’t aware of it.

I’m now in the prosess of removing all those extra lines of code in all my previous blogposts and I’ll check in the future if things go wrong again.

    I’m just glad you didn’t go ahead and delete your feed and lose subscribers.

    I actually also deleted the feed, but with the exact same URL for the new one I doubt I’ve lost anyone. The counter is back to zero and I have no stats anymore, but I think every reader will still be directed to the same url so things will be back to normal shortly.

    Thanks again for the pointer. It was bugging me all week.
