Indeed a very good observation. Although I suppose there are more people earning passive income from niche sites, just that they probably don´t talk much about it. Not too sure about that, but some of the Spammers, Evildoers, and Opportunists (http://powazek.com/posts/2090) surely will be in this game.

Apart from that, of course Lifestyle Design and everything related IS absolutely unknown to most people today. It will be fun to see how things develop in the next few years!

Good to have inspired you. Indeed the 4HWW was an eye opener to this world of lifestyle design. (And my first book on the subject).

Please do provide a linkback when you've written the blogpost, I'd love to read your view on things.

Nice stuff, 4HWW was a great into into lifestyle design. It's been about a year since I read it and it was a big part in changing my outlook on life. I hope the fact that because this has been its effect and through my persistence I will not be one of those who give up. I can't see myself doing that.

You've inspired a new post in me with this one, thanks.

Great stuff here and glad to see you hit that 100 mark and moved over to a real domain. Big stuff!

Loved this post as I am one of those early movers and your bullet points above illustrate perfectly real potential and where I believe the world is going, and that's online.

We're all the content providers now...and we're young...and inexperienced...except for a few of us...but what happens when we aren't? What happens when we've been providing content online for 10 years (movies, writing, ebooks, music etc) and we do it well...we've become ahead of the curve, earned influence, income and gained advantage. Glad to see someone is paying attention!

Great post Christiaan! I know when I first had dreams of traveling/living abroad and running my business, my friends thought I'd never do it, and my family thought I was crazy & unrealistic!

You're absolutely right that we're on the cusp of a new trend. I think the mobile lifestyle and internet income streams have a huge potential to change the way laws govern work/income/even borders, and we won't see that for some time. And for those of us who know about all the thought leaders and concepts you've mentioned above, we really do need to realize we hold some unique knowledge that we can share with others. Great stuff man!
