Okay okay, that activity has been relegated to ANYWHERE BUT THE BED. Not a terrible resolution, I suppose! ;)

Well of course there are other things you could do in bed. But I thought I'd keep this blogpost suitable for all ages. As far as I know watching TV is not what a bed is meant for whereas "going to bed" has several interpretations now doesn't it?

Use the the bed go to bed, in whatever way you interpret that phrase.

actually I saw this one coming a mile away and should have addressed it in the blogpost :)

The challenge here is to actually use the bed only for sleeping because that will reaffirm to your mind that that is what the bed is mainly for. After all, we spend roughly 8 hours a day using the bed for sleep. But at the same time - especially when you live in a one room apartment or dorm - things tend to get misused. The desk becomes a dining table, the sofa a secondary sleeping area, the bed a sofa as well and all places a dumpsite for clutter. Your mind no longer associates any of the places with anything in particular or mixes things up. You get tired sitting on the sofa, hungry while at your desk and getting sleepy when in bed is only a vague memory from childhood.

A place for everything and everything in it's place, give it a try :)

Isn't there some other activity that might be sanctioned for the bed?
